Víctor Navarro Capell was born in Barcelona and at the age of 12, began the Catalonian regional dance with the "Esbart Sarrià" from Barcelona. At the age of 17 he was admitted as a student to the Theatrical Institute of Barcelona, studying classical, Spanish, and Catalan dance. In 1964 he was hired as a soloist dancer for the Ballet of the Great Theater of the Liceu, and later for the Zarzuela in Madrid. In 1968, he travels to Lisbon in order to work for the Gulbenkian Ballet where his career began internationally, dancing for important companies like the Ballet of the Opera from Lille in France, Real Ballet of Wallonie and Real Ballet of Flandes in Belgium. In the Ballet of Flandes in Belgium is where his first opportunity as a professional choreographer ocurred, with the work "Danses sacrées et profanes" with music from C. Debussy. Here he achieved his first real success in Europe.

In 1974 he arrived in Brazil, invited to occupy the position of "Maître de Ballet" and resident choreographer to the municipal ballet of Saô Paulo. From that moment on, Navarro accumulated one success after another, which resulted in the most prestigious prizes offered to ballet in Brazil. In 1978 he was offered directorship of the ballet company. in 1982 he created the "Victor Navarro Dance Company", and he was considered one of the best choreographers in Brazil for his show "Paixâo" (Passion), among other works.

In 2001, he returned to Spain, to continue with his artistic and teaching career. in 2002 he starred in the show "LL  LORCA LISPECTOR" in the city of Figueres, thus continuing his dance company, now under the name of VNC BALLET.

His main teachers have been: Juan Magrinya, Wenceslav Morawsky, José Granero, Jorge Ventura, Roland Casenave, Walter Gore, Aurora Pons, Carmen Contreras and Cristina Kinjoan.

Their choreographies have been danced by : Víctor Navarro  Company of Dance (Saô Paulo), Ballet Theater Castro Alves (Salvador, Bahia), Ballet of Ismael Guiser (Saô Paulo), Cisne Negro Company of Dance (Saô Paulo), Ballet of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, Ballet of the city of Saô Paulo, National Ballet from Lisbon, Real Ballet of Flandes (Belgium)... among others.

He has collaborated with important personalities of the world of ballet, including: Serge Lifar, Leonide Massine, Paula Hinton, Liane Daydé, Walter Gore, Tatiana Leskova, Ninete Devalois, Nicholas Beriosoff, Brigit Culberg, Gemze de Lape, Oscar Araiz, Michail Renault, Yelko Yurecha, Milorad Miskovich, Vladimir Skuratoff, Pons Dawn, Rudy Bryans, Juan Magrinya, Gislaine Thesmar, John Auld, George Skibine and Gigi Gheorghe Caciulianu.

Víctor Navarro is a member of the International Dance Council (UNESCO) in Paris.

He is also a Professor, titled by the Ministry of French Culture in Paris, for his immense experience.
